2018, Yuan Li started talk “Wear Your Heart On Your Head” at China Exchange, about her own journey of self-expression, feminism, multiculturalism and individualism in London and in fashion, also her inspirations from cultural icons and the contemporary artists abound her, to inspire people express themselves through hats and style. The talk will become a regular program.
YUAN LI LONDON designed “Feminist” feather headdresses for comedian and feminism influencer Deborah Frances-White, the headdress and the image was used to remark “100th Anniversary of British Women's Right to Vote” by Guardian Live in London Palladium in 2018.
Later the headdress become the cover of Debrah’s new book “The Guilty Feminist”, which was praised by Dame Emma Thompson as "Essential reading on the planet".
