What will you learn:

This course is for people want to learn making hat professionally with couture finish, bespoke course according to the customers requests of type of hats, materials and trimmings.

Start with introduction of hat making basics, sharing my time-tested millinery techniques, I will help you to design and create a hat from scratch, you will learn cutting, stiffening, hand blocking, trimming and finishing the hat in couture millinery standard. 

It require advanced sewing and craft experience, also require some upper body strength to be able to block the felt on the block, with my help you will be surprised how much you can achieve in this session.

Materials:

Premium fur felt base, or sinamay or straw base, selection of trimmings based on customer requests, material availabilities and within the price range.

Result:

Making 2 professional hats with trimmings.

2. Your residence (female customers within London only). I will bring the blocks, materials and tools need to your home to teach. this service will charge higher for the traveling time and costs. Please email me for details check for the health and safety before booking the class.
