Millinery Workshop & Hat Making Classes
YUANLILONDON Millinery workshops and hatmaking classes are for people who love stylish hats, needles, laughters, tea and cakes.
Headpiece / hat / fascinators sessions in an airy, bright studio, with my help, you will enjoy pleasure of creative mind, skilful hands, and grand finale of glamorous hats, with lovely red velvet cupcakes and tea. This is the way to spend your Sunday, and fab time with your friends and other creative people !
There are 3 different workshop for you to choose:
"Chic and Glamour"
Intermediate Felt Fascinator / Hat Workshop with Afternoon Tea
Date: Sunday Afternoon
Duration: 13:30 -- 18:00 (4.5 hours)
Simplicity is the key to elegance. From 1920's chic, 1940's glamour to quirky modern ideas, this workshop is ideal for whom with the creative mind and capable hands.
Sharing my millinery skills and experience, we will work through basic techniques of felt blocking, trimming, and finishing. It require some sewing skills and basic handcraft experience, yet you can always challenge yourself if you have never done any headpiece before, with my help you will be surprised how much you can achieve in this session.
Materials:
A wool felt hood, use of blocks available, selection of feathers, flowers, veiling and braid, etc.
Extra or premium feathers, trimmings and materials can be purchased in the workshop.
Result:
A chic felt fascinator or glamorous small hat for your special occasion! And lots of fun, socialising, chatting and laughing with craft lovers and like-minded ladies.

Beginner Headpiece / Fascinator Workshop

Duration: 10:30 -- 14:00 (3.5 hours)
How doesn't like glamour, needles and laughters? ;-)
Start with introduction of fabulous hats and fascinators made by famous milliners and by me.
Then I will help you to design and create a fascinator fit for royalty! Learning which colour themes work well together and for your outfit, and sharing my time-tested millinery techniques to create a fabulous fascinator for yourself (or as a gift for friend:)).
It require some sewing experience, with my help you will be surprised how much you can achieve in this session.
Materials:
A fascinator base, selection of feathers, flowers, trimmings, veiling etc.
Result:
A fab fascinator for your special occasion!
And lots of fun, socialising, chatting and laughing with craft lovers and like-minded ladies.

Enjoy good time with your family and besties in my airy, bright studio, with glass of bubbly, cupcakes and yes, surround by many fabulous hats, get hands on making beautiful fascinators or veiling for the very special wedding day.
Ideal for Bridal shower party, brides, bridesmaids, mother of the brides and wedding guests.
Start with introduction of bridal fascinator and veiling inspirations. Then I will help you to design and create a fascinator fit for big day. Learning which styles work well together with your outfits, and sharing my time-tested millinery techniques to create and make!
It require little sewing experience, with my help you will be surprised how much you can achieve in this session.
